Hour Record Ellen van Dijk

The Dutch Ellen Van Dijk has set the world speed record. And how! The rider of Trek-Segafredo covered 49.254 kilometres in Switzerland. That is much better than the previous record, in name of Joscelin Lowden (48.405 kilometres).

The world time trial champion looked up after an hour on the cycling track in Grenchen and saw the board read 49.254 kilometres. By doing so, she improved the world record from 2021 by almost 1 kilometre! A real pulverisation of the record.

For the preparation Ellen asked our osteopath to accompany her. The many hours of training preceding this top performance are gruelling for the back.  This was a unique project and we are proud to have been able to work on it.

Back school: what can I do myself for low back pain or neck pain?

Lower back pain can no longer be ignored in everyday life. Here are some tips and exercises by our specialist Nand!
